Why we’re here

A little room
to hear yourself.

Midlife is a space for adults making sense of change. You can start with a feeling, a question, or the simple sense that something is different.

What Midlife offers

We offer free introductory conversations, full sessions, and a monthly membership with reflection guides, plus a reading room about identity, work, relationships, and life transitions. The aim is to help you put thoughts into words and consider your own next steps.

You do not need to call what you’re going through a crisis. You can be curious, uncertain, frustrated, or simply ready to ask a different question.

Four different perspectives

Elena, James, Priya, and Catherine each offer a different conversational style and focus. You might want a gentle question, a practical perspective, or room to slow down and find your own words. Read about how our conversations work.

You can choose a different guide whenever you start a new conversation. There is no right way to begin, and no need to have everything figured out.

Where the conversation ends

A conversation can help you reflect, but it can also miss context or offer an unhelpful perspective. This service cannot assess your health, provide psychotherapy, diagnose, prescribe, or manage an emergency. A guide cannot contact help on your behalf.

If you need clinical care, start with our guide to finding a human therapist. If you need urgent support, visit Get support.

Our reading room

Our articles are educational and reflective. We link to relevant sources and distinguish reflection prompts from professional guidance. Articles are not clinically reviewed and should not be used to diagnose yourself or another person.
